Public testing of self-propelled vehicles are becoming increasingly common. The newest is currently on the streets of the casino city of Las Vegas: The French company Navya has announced that its autonomous electric bus now jerks through the entertainment district around Fremont Street. From today to January 20, passengers can travel for free. According to Navya and the city of Las Vegas, it is the first autonomous e-shuttle on US roads.
The vehicle can accommodate up to a dozen passengers, writes the Las Vegas Sun . Its maximum speed is almost 20 km / h, although it actually more than double.
