The best and worst serviceable phones in 2016

During several years of iFixit has become the one of the main representatives of the community with instruction for repair of device. A group of people with great enthusiasm, which is very well known for detailed disassembly iPhone and Samsung.

  1. The most serviceable phone of 2016 : LG G5

LG G5, Modular has easily removable battery and several modular components that go easily replaced. Although it is not the best phone on the market, it is very easy to fix. In their test, reparability gained 8/10 points.

  1. Google Pixel / Pixel XL

Both model: Pixel and Pixel XL have a lot of modular components, which simplifies repair individual parts. Unfortunately, it’s just very hard to open without breaking their display. The iFixit repairability score of 7/10 points.

  1. iPhone 7/7 Plus

Almost of Apple product are based on the heaviest access to its facilities, but this problem does not apply to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. To open the phone, you need to unscrew four different screws, but once that process is behind you, so replacing the screen or batteries (two most common repairs) is relatively simple. iFixit score of 7/10 points.

  1. iPhone SE

Smaller, yet equipped iPhone SE has a similarly simple process component replacement, but when withdrawing display, you risk breaking the Touch ID cable. iFixit score of 6/10 points.

  1. Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge

The cost of repairing the toughest of the year goes to South Korea. Many Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, which is made from a combination of glass and metal, according to iFixit, it is the most difficult to repair. Opening such a structure is a tough one, and thus are difficult to repair. iFixit score of 3/10 points.
